How You Can Help

We need your help!

One of the best ways you can help is to volunteer! We need people with many different skills, whether that be translation work, administrative support, web development, fundraising, or any number of other things. Click here to fill out our volunteer form.

One very effective way to help is by initiating your own fundraising event. Not only does it raise funds, it also raises awareness of North Korea’s crimes against humanity and the plight of North Korean refugees to your friends and others who learn of your efforts. An example of a volunteer initiating his own fundraising for NKinUSA is Johnathan Gessner, who raised $1,400 for his high school prom. (See here.) Another example is Towson University students who raised money for NKinUSA as part of their class on fundraising. (See here.) We particularly appreciate how these efforts both spread the word about North Korea and produced tangible financing to fuel NKinUSA’s rescue, resettlement, and awareness-raising programs. We want North Korea’s crimes against humanity to be raised in every discussion on North Korea, not just nuclear weapons alone. We want China’s illegal forcible repatriation of North Korean refugees in China also raised in every discussion on North Korea. We welcome your interest in these areas.

Your donation will also help us to fund our ongoing efforts to help North Korean refugees and bring them to freedom. You can click on the button on the right side of this page to donate through Paypal or you can send a personal check to:
